Perpetual trading
Trade perpetual markets with live data, advanced orders, and account controls.
The perpetual workspace connects the wallet directly to the integrated stock perpetual venue. It brings market discovery, charting, live microstructure, order entry, positions, and account history into one screen.
Market coverage
Markets are grouped into Stocks, Indices, Commodities, and Forex. The selector shows price, 24-hour change, volume, open interest, and funding. Featured markets are available from the ticker for fast switching.
The market header shows:
- mark and oracle prices
- 24-hour change and volume
- open interest
- current funding rate
- venue maximum leverage
- whether the market requires isolated margin
Charts use the selected perpetual market. The adjacent live panel can switch between order-book depth and recent trades.
Fund the account
The deposit action opens a multi-chain USDC checkout when deposits are available. The destination is the connected wallet's perpetual venue account. After a successful deposit, balances refresh automatically.
Always verify the destination, source chain, token, network fee, and minimum deposit shown in the checkout.
Configure margin
Before placing an order, choose the appropriate margin mode and leverage for the selected market:
- Cross margin shares available margin across eligible positions.
- Isolated margin limits the margin assigned to the selected position.
- Leverage is capped by the venue metadata for each asset.
Higher leverage reduces the distance to liquidation. Changing leverage does not make a position less risky; it changes the collateral allocated to it.
Order types
| Type | Behavior |
|---|---|
| Market | Executes immediately with a configurable maximum-slippage guard |
| Limit | Rests at the specified price until filled or cancelled |
| Stop market | Triggers a market action when the stop price is reached |
| Stop limit | Triggers a limit order at the configured stop condition |
| TWAP | Splits a large order over a duration from 5 minutes to 24 hours |
Order size can be entered in asset units or USD. The form estimates notional, checks current venue limits, and rejects orders below the venue minimum. TWAP suborders must also meet the minimum notional.
Position controls
The ticket supports:
- buy and sell directions
- reduce-only execution
- take-profit and stop-loss attachments
- slippage limits for market-like execution
- current available buying power and maximum size
Reduce-only prevents an order from increasing or reversing exposure. Use it when the intent is strictly to close or shrink a position.
Monitor execution
The lower account panel exposes:
- Balances — account value and available balance
- Positions — size, entry, mark, value, PnL, ROE, liquidation price, margin, and leverage
- Open Orders — side, price, size, original size, reduce-only state, and cancellation
- TWAP — direction, size, executed amount, duration, and status
- Trade History — fills, fees, and closed PnL
- Funding History — funding payments and rates
- Order History — order type, size, fill state, and identifier
- Deposits & Withdrawals — account ledger events and transaction references
Live account queries are scoped to the connected wallet. Market data remains visible before connection; execution and private account state require the wallet.
Risk checklist
Perpetuals are leveraged derivatives. Before submitting an order:
- Confirm the instrument and whether it is a stock, index, commodity, or forex market.
- Review mark price, oracle price, spread, order-book depth, and funding.
- Understand cross versus isolated margin.
- Set leverage based on loss tolerance—not desired profit.
- Check estimated liquidation price and maximum slippage.
- Use reduce-only when closing exposure.
- Treat take-profit and stop-loss triggers as conditional orders, not guaranteed execution prices.
